Portal para Kaph

Instalação composta por 25 Serigrafias dispostas de forma suspensa, formando duas molduras vazadas. As serigrafias contém imagens de partes do corpo sobrepostas em várias camadas, contendo também, de forma sutil, letras do alfabeto Hebraico.

A forma da instalação remete a portais que convidam o espectador a um olhar para dentro. Em cada uma das 16 serigrafias da primeira moldura, há a presença não visível da primeira letra do alfabeto Hebraico, Aleph, que sugere “O Princípio”.  Na segunda moldura de 8 obras, uma segunda letra do alfabeto Hebraico, Bet, que representa “A Casa que nos Recebe”. Na última, próxima à parede, está Kaph, que remete ao “Enraizamento no Mundo”.

Art installation with 25 Serigraphs arranged in suspended form, forming a tunnel that closes in a piece of work. These serigraphs incorporate the quality of three Hebrew letters, which are subtly present. Six other mixed-media works close the room.

The shape of the installation refers to portals that invite the viewer to look inside. In each of the 16 serigraphs of the first frame, there is no visible presence of the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Aleph, which suggests "Principle". In the second frame of 8 works, a second letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Bet, which represents "The House that Receives Us". In the last, next to the wall, is Kaph, which refers to the "Rooting in the World".
